  • What is Restorative Spa Yoga?

Restorative spa yoga is a little bit different. It's taking the same principals of restorative yoga, but you're lying on a warm crystal mat that releases negative ions and infrared. Essentially, what this does is helps to reduce any stress and anxiety in your body and helps your body to metabolize more efficiently and effectively. This will help your body to slip into its most deep healing state. Over time this resets your nervous system and brings your body into its most optimal healing.

  • What is Restorative Yoga?

So restorative yoga is a style of yoga that uses bolsters, blankets, pillows, essentially props to let your body completely relax. You stay in each pose for anywhere between about five and 15 minutes, but because they're all passive poses essentially on the floor and props, so that you're body's really gently opening over time, you find that you get a truly deep, very meditative class that's accessible for essentially anyone.

Regardless of whether you have physical injuries, have never done yoga before, wanting to work into health and vitality but don't yet feel ready for typical yoga class, it's also wonderful for anyone who has stress conditions or feels that they have stress in their life, as well as if you want a really, really amazing sleep at night.  If you're interested in trying restorative yoga contact your local qualified yoga teacher.
